Applications and benefits
Microcement HYDROFEST is ideal for finishing bathroom walls, especially in wet areas such as showers or splash-prone zones.
Can be used as a finish for:
- bathroom walls
- kitchen walls
- walls in wet areas in restaurants and commercial spaces
Key benefits:
- Water resistance – the HYDROFEST system provides durable moisture protection, allowing it to be used in wet areas.
- Joint-free surface – no grout lines means not only a better look, but also easier cleaning and fewer spots where moisture can settle
- Subtle finish – HydroFest gives you a refined finish to the substrate
- Time saving – it is a ready-to-use, tinted microcement that can be applied immediately.
- High adhesion – HydroFest can be applied to various surfaces such as concrete or ceramic tiles.
- Easy care – simple cleaning with water and neutral pH liquids.
- Optional antibacterial coating – when Nano Silver Plus additive is used in the lacquer layers, antibacterial properties can be achieved, which is crucial in bathrooms.

What does the kit include?
The kit includes all the necessary components to complete 10m2 of HYDROFEST microcement walls in a bathroom. The kit contains:
Fest Grunt (1 kg) – a primer that equalizes substrate absorbency and improves adhesion of subsequent layers. Enough for one coat.
microcement HYDROFEST (10 kg) – ready-to-use, factory-tinted microcement resistant to water. Enough for two coats.
sealer PU FEST 2K CARBON (1 kg component A + 0.08 kg component B) – two-component protective sealer with very high hardness, resistant to abrasion and dirt. Enough for one coat; for maximum durability, two coats are recommended. Choose the option with the additional lacquer to ensure full surface protection. [sealer included in the kit is intended for protecting walls and other vertical surfaces exposed to periodic contact with water. It is not recommended for use on horizontal surfaces where water may remain for a long time (e.g. shower floors, shower shelves, shower seats, and countertops where water may collect).]
Colour selection
microcement HydroFest is factory-tinted and no longer requires pigment addition during use. The colourants are mixed during production, ensuring a consistent microcement shade every time, which is important for the aesthetics and cohesion of the interior finish. Simply choose the appropriate colour from the standard colour chart. You can also order a colour outside our standard palette. We offer microcement HYDROFEST in shades from the RAL palette (over 200 colours) and the NCS palette (almost 2000 colours), giving you additional flexibility in interior design and customisation.
👉 Remember that colour perception may vary depending on several factors, including the settings of your computer or phone screen, as well as the type of lighting in the room – the colour looks different in daylight and different under artificial warm or cool light. Therefore, before making your final decision, it is worth ordering a sample to see how the colour will look in your interior.
